  What is this?
  The Weapon Mod basicly enhances the Single Player of Soldier of Fortune 2. It's NOT and MP mod nor will it ever be. The mod redefines and changes many of the Single Players features, adds many new weapons and gives it a facelift with new audio and visual effects. The Weapon Mod doesn't invent the wheel again it just oils the bearings, checks the preasure and replaces the hubcaps.

  New Visual Effects:
Mostly all of the games explosions, muzzleflashes, fires, smokes, ejected shells and bullet holes are remade.

  New Sound Effects:
  New gun fire sounds, explosions, impact and more. I've tried to make the effects have that... *umpf*, balls, that feel of a fire arm or an explosion. The silenced gun shots I've sampled from the non silenced gun shots, so they sound better than some ready sampled ones.
   
  Tweaks:
  I've fixed the weapons as realistic as I can but keep the game in balance. Weapons range, damage and penetration are determined by the ammo it uses. Accuracy and rate-of-fire by the gun it self. Thus MP5 and Micro Uzi have the same damage, penetration (of body armor) and range but the MP5 has slower rate of fire and is more accurate while the Micro Uzi spits its clip empty in a blink of an eye and spreads the bullets all over the place. Only magnum and rifle ammo can penetrate body armor.

Rifle scopes don't have all the answers. You can't see your ammo, or the zoom level, since all scopes have only one zoom (except M29 which has 4 from 1 to 6x). Machineguns spit out shells and chain links, RPG-7Vs rocket flies in a long arc, M590 ejects its shell after the gun is cocked and so on. There is just too much stuff to list. And I don't even remember all the things I've changed.
